I am seriously about to explode with enthusiasm over today’s senior shoot with Danielle!   Every day should be like this….pulchritudinous…splendiferous – ha ha – I just looked up other words for “gorgeous” on dictionary.com because, seriously, how many times can I say gorgeous?    I’m not sure that pulchritudinous would translate well.   This day and this senior  – WOW!    Gorgeous!  I needn’t say more.  Just see for yourself in Danielle’s splendiferous pictures.

After two rain outs, I finally met Brandy for some smokin’ senior pictures.  I love shooting in new places and yesterday’s adventure in Gardner was fun for me.  Brandy was a lot of fun to photograph and I know she was happy to finally have her shoot.  We were “attacked” by swarms of ladybugs.  Ok, so maybe we weren’t “attacked”, but WOW it was like ladybug invasion yesterday.  I must say I prefer them over the mosquitoes and spiders though!  Thanks Brandy!  It was great getting to know you.  You are going to be a great athletic trainer someday!

Over and over again, I keep saying the same thing….gorgeous senior, gorgeous Kansas day and a blessed photographer!    It’s no exaggeration.  It is fact and it is wonderful!  I really can’t help but praise God for such wonderful opportunities to meet such great people, like Jessica and her mother, and to work in His beautiful creation.  Yesterday was a golden day and Cedar Creek is so spectacular.   Jessica’s pictures are amazing!  Thanks Jessica for choosing Thrive for your senior pictures.

You can’t tell by Katie’s pictures just how chilly it was yesterday, but…brrrrrr!   Good thing I can smooth out goosebumps!   Katie and her sister, Leah, were such fun to be with and we had a great time getting pictures of this gorgeous senior!  Honestly, it was so hard to pick the pictures to edit…they were all so incredible.  How blessed am I to work with such nice and beautiful people?  Thanks so much Katie for choosing Thrive and braving the crisp October day!

Thank you to all the wonderful families that came out for Thrive’s first Mini-Session day.  I have to tell you that I enjoyed every single minute of it.  I truly consider it an honor and a blessing from God that you choose me to take precious portraits of your families.   I really mean that.  Wow! What a day – beautiful and gorgeous and perfect for pictures.  I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks.  Come back to my website on October 29th to see all of your proofs in your own private gallery.

Gorgeous.  Spectacular.   Great.  Fun.  4 words that describe today and 4 words that describe Brittany, an awesome senior from Olathe North.   We meet in Olathe for some sweet senior pictures.  We were on the hunt for some turning leaves, but found few.  What we did find was some really great spots for her pics.  I had to post three in the cowgirl hat – I loved them all so much!  Thanks Brittany – it was such a fun morning!

I love this family.  They have been a huge part of my life for almost 8 years and what a fun time it was taking these secret pictures of the kids for mom and dad.  (Please, anyone who knows them….don’t say a word.)  Kalee called and wanted to have these pictures done for her mom and dad.  We had little time to make it happen, but it all worked out….and work it out, they did!  Check out these rockin’ pictures!!!  WOWZA!  They are a gorgeous family and there were so, so many great pictures, it was hard to pick a couple for the blog.

If you are reading this, and you are a praying and believing person, please lift Marcail, the youngest, up in prayer.  She will be having a serious surgery on October 21st and we would like to bombard heaven on her behalf and her family’s.  Thank you and God bless you!
