After two days of rain, the crisp, sunny day today was such a welcome sight! It was particularly great because I met Nicole down at The Plaza for some spectacular senior pics. What a beautiful young lady and sooo photogenic. I know you’ll agree. We had a perfect day. Thanks Nicole. It was such a blessing to photograph you.
First, let me just say that Whitni is absolutely beautiful and sweet! What a delight to photograph her for her senior pictures. Second, I must admit it was one of the most “interesting” shoots I have had…not because of Whitni, but because we ran into a couple interesting characters while out and about shooting pictures. Wow – it all made for very interesting dinner conversation for me and my family.
At any rate, it was a glorious Sunday and Whitni was a wonderful person to work with. I am in love with all her shots! Here’s a few to get you pumped, Whitni! Thanks so much for choosing Thrive for your senior pictures.
It was such a blessing to meet Skyler and her mom today for Skyler’s senior photo shoot. We started off at her house with her beautiful horse, Elijah, and then headed to Paola for some special shots just for Skyler. I’ve never shot in Paola before and it was definitely a lot less walking than some of my other shoots, but there were still some great places for creative pictures. I fell in love with the retro chair I saw sitting on the side of the road outside a used furniture store. I knew we had to use it and the owner was gracious and generous! Small town charm…! The whole experience was just so wonderful in so many ways and it was great to spend time with Skyler and her mom. Thanks so much!
Paige was totally rockin’ out The Plaza and Loose Park yesterday! Amidst the busy sidewalks of The Plaza, we got some amazing shots of Paige. She was turning heads no doubt about it! She looked gorgeous in every shot I took. We found some really sweet spots for pictures. Loose Park was filled with photographers and everyone seemed to want to shoot around that gorgeous fountain. We got some there, but my favorites were the circle fence and the dreamy shots on the grass. What a glow! Thanks Paige and Theresa! It was a blast being with you.
October is my all time favorite month. I love the weather; the crisp mornings, the bright blue skies and the changing leaves. It just makes my heart happy! Meeting seniors like Alex makes my heart happy too! What a really awesome young lady and a lot of fun to shoot pictures of. Like always, we went on the hunt for something unique for Alex and hit the jackpot with the pink and silver graffiti! It was just a perfect day and her senior portraits are gonna rock. Thanks Alex and Tammy for choosing me to take your pictures. I had such a fun time.
Another gorgeous Kansas day and another beautiful Kansas Senior! What a fantastic senior session I had today with Jenna. We had some great location finds and just the most perfect weather, light and breeze. It was just perfect. I absolutely loved this girl. I love her personal style. I love her sweet personality. I love her smile and I love that she was willing to lay in a street, swing on a tree or sit on water meters. Jenna, I hope you had as much fun as I did and that you love these first 5 shots. Girl, they are all amazing! Just wait!!!!
What did I say about this blue? See why I was so excited??
O Mylanta! This picture took my breath away!
Jenna – you are gorgeous!
Shooting at The River Market is always the best. It was made better than ever today because 1) it was a Monday morning and we practically had the place to ourselves and 2) Hilary was such a fun senior to hang with! Hilary is a gorgeous senior from SMNW, a competitive cheerleader and ready for high school to end and college to begin. Except for a bit of wind, we had a great morning for shooting and made it before the rain came in.
Hilary, your pictures are unbelievable! Here’s a sneak peek:
