The sunshine, the waterfalls, the settings and especially the graduate, made for incredible senior pictures.
Sorry it took me a couple days to get Shelby’s pictures online. I had a great photo shoot with Shelby on Friday, but left the next morning bright and early for Mom’s Weekend at my son’s fraternity at Kansas State. I’ll have to blog some pictures from that later! Back to Shelby’s amazing senior photo shoot….Shelby came with her friend, Courtney who I shot her senior pictures last fall, and we had a blast at the River Market! Shelby is a superstar soccer player at Olathe South, heading to South Dakota on a soccer scholarship. She is a goalie with the bruises to prove it (although you won’t see them in her pictures thanks of Photoshop!). She really rocked out her senior portrait session and it was a great time for me to be hanging with two such fun, laid-back girls!
For those out there wondering if I ever shoot guy’s senior portraits….here’s proof, I do!!! It’s been since the fall that I had a guy client and so, I was thrilled when Dickie’s mom called me to book his senior pictures. It was fun to talk some sports with him and find out a little about his accomplishments on the field and the mat at St. James Academy. We had some things in common since my son also played football and wrestled and I’m sure it made the time go more quickly for Dickie! He was just ready to “git’r done” and my camera was shooting rapid fire to get him on his way. I was pretty excited to shoot in some new spots and I was even more excited when I got home and looked at all the great shots we got. Thanks Dickie!
