My sincere apologies to Melanie on taking so long to blog her session.   I’m all about getting some pictures posted in 24 hours and I had them ready; I just forgot to blog them!  I did at least get them on Facebook for her to see, but for her family…sorry to make you wait!   Melanie was one of the sweetest seniors I have had the chance to shoot.  She has such a quiet beauty.  Maybe what the Bible calls a gentle spirit?  All I know is that she glows in all her pictures.    We had a wonderful day in this week of bad weather to shoot and I enjoyed every minute of getting to know her and taking her senior portraits.

Below is what happens when you sit in front of a fountain on a windy day!

Still catching up with my blog updating from the weekend.  I had a great senior shoot with Erin a couple months ago and it was great to get together with the entire family for some special family portraits.  Getting a family portrait is a great idea before those seniors leave for college.  This family are huge KU fans and wrapped up the session with some KU attire in their KU basement.  Thanks McFarlands!

These pictures speak for themselves….and they say LOVE!  Greg and Amy are getting married in April and we had an amazing engagement session on Saturday.  I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was picking out just these nice pictures for their sneak peek.

So, I’m seriously behind in some bloggin’!   I’m gonna have to make my writings short and sweet so that I can get to my back log of beautiful people waiting to be blogged.     I love this family very much.  They have a really special place in my heart and it was not only a really fun time photographing them, but an honor and privilege.  Love you, Muellers!

Yet another interesting and gorgeous senior!   Val is from Blue Springs Senior High and braved the chill to create some amazing senior pictures.     Thanks Val and Gilda for a fun time!

Justin met up with me at the River Market for some senior portraits on one of the coldest days we have had in a long time.    Man, he was cold.  At least I have some body fat to keep me insulated!  Comes in handy for something, huh?   We busted a move and got his shoot done in record time, but I still got some incredible pictures and even discovered a couple new spots.    Thanks for braving the cold with me, Justin.  It was still a great time.
