Josh and Shelby (see their maternity shoot here) had their beautiful baby girl on January 5 and I had such a great time taking these pictures of her at 10 days old.    She is just heavenly and I have a good feeling that she is going to be loved to the max.  I’m so happy for you guys.

Okay, so I have to explain this next shot.  This was Josh & Shelby’s idea…and I LOVE IT!  Shelby has a size 10 shoe and Josh a size 14, so when their baby was born and they went to do the footprints for the birth certificate and they went off the page. 

I have been away for over a month from my blog.  Did ya miss me?   I was intentional about focusing on my family and the holidays.  I thought about blogging some of the wonderful pictures I took over Christmas, but it was “no work” for me.  I’m trying hard to hang onto these moments with my children heading from adolescence to adulthood because things are changing fast.  My second child is about to graduate from high school and in three short years, all my children will be out of high school and who knows where they will land?

I already did an engagement session with Chris and Jessica in October, but Chris had mentioned that he really wanted snow pictures.  So, I was itching to shoot and hey, the temperature had reached a warm 25 degrees (with windchill I think it was still in single digits).    Well, it turned out to be pretty darn cold, but we smashed out a quick 20 minute snow session and I got these fun pictures of the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. McClendon!
