Once upon a time when Thrive Creative Studio was just in it’s infancy, I met a nice family with three sons and took some very sweet brother pictures. Matt is the oldest of the crew. I was so happy to run into Matt’s mother recently and find out that Matt was now a senior and ready for some senior pictures. We had a great morning shoot in Westport and even got a shot of mother and son! Lovely!

Brittany is a gorgeous senior from Olathe East High School with a beautiful, big family who came with her on her senior portrait shoot! It was just a wonderful night and we traipsed all over the place to create Brittany’s unique and gorgeous senior pictures.

I was so thrilled to get to see and photograph the King Family again! They booked Thrive Creative Studio for a Belly & Baby Session last year and had a super adorable maternity session in November and then a newborn session in January. When they called to book a 6 month session, I knew they would bring the fashion and the fun to their shoot and they did not disappoint!

I love how Brittany completely brought her style and personality into her senior pictures. I mean she brought her adorable, freshly fluffed up dog, her guitar and cowboy hat, cheerleading uniform and a couple amazing outfits. I’m crazy about how her pictures turned out and had a blast shooting with her!

I had a great time with Mollie from Spring Hill High School shooting her senior pictures. Mollie is one of my amazing SpokesModels and a gifted volleyball player. She and I trudged through some waist high grasses to get some out of this world shots.

This was a very special newborn shoot for me. You see, the new mommy, Natalie, is a beautiful young woman whom I have been blessed to know since she was in 7th grade and a student in the youth group that I pastored. She and I have had our really special moments over these years; we went on mission trips, camps and retreats together, and worked together to build one of the best youth worship bands in Kansas City. Natalie is an anointed worship leader and she started with a bunch of other hungry 15 year olds in the youth room at Church of the Harvest. She decided to quit basketball in 8th grade to be part of our worship team and eventually she was leading it and it was phenomenal! Now, she is married to an awesome man, David, and she and David our the current youth pastors at the church where I once lead her. Isn’t God just so good?
So beautiful baby Gabby and I had our first meeting when she was 5 days old and these are the sweet little images that she gave me. Love. Love. Love. With all my heart!
