Well, third time’s definitely a charm!  Two rained out sessions made this our third attempt to take Andie’s senior pictures.  It was also a kind of  iffy day, but ended up being absolutely perfect for late July outdoor senior pictures!  I don’t even have to say a word – these pictures totally speak for themselves  -  Andie is a stunningly gorgeous girl!

I’m wrapping up the shooting of my Class of 2011 Thrive Seniors Spokesmodels.  Thrive Seniors Spokesmodels are girls who applied to represent Thrive Seniors in their schools and with their friends; sharing their experience with Thrive and giving out cards for new clients to get free pictures from their senior photo shoot.  I have been so impressed with the young ladies that I have been working with  and Ali was no exception.  Sweet, nice and beautiful!  We had a great time working in Westport and then heading out for a Sunset Session!  Thanks Ali!!

Grab yourself an lemonade and get comfortable because this is one colossal wedding blog!  The beautiful Amanda and the handsome Jason began their love story just one year ago and on July 24, 2010 they stood before the Lord and their loving families and became united in the covenant of marriage.   You can look at these pictures and see the enormous smiles on their faces; so in love and so happy to be married.    It started out as a sunny and hot July day with a forecast for rain…and were they right!   Just as I was capturing the shots of the bride and her bridal party the sprinkles started….and then the downpour!  It proceeded to rain for another couple hours; just until we were wrapping up family pictures and ready to shoot the wedding party.  I never saw Amanda get flustered by this “glitch”, not once.  Her eye was on “the prize”… her husband to be!      Their ceremony was beautiful; the music incredible.  Amanda and Jason had a fun twist planned at the end.  As the pastor announced, “you may kiss the bride”, they turned for a squirt of mouth freshener before their first kiss as a married couple.  I personally loved the moment no one else saw; when they exited the sanctuary and had a couple minutes to revel in what just happened…they were married!  Their eyes glistened as they looked at each other’s ring fingers and then into each other’s eyes.  It was really beautiful.      The reception was full of celebration and festivity; complete with a photobooth for guests to enjoy.  What a beautiful day!      I cannot express adequately how thankful I am to have been right in the midst of all of it; from watching this calm bride get ready, to watching their guests celebrate with them in a rousing chicken dance!  It’s a privilege to be on this end of the camera and I pray God’s most abundant blessings on the marriage of Jason and Amanda!

I am so behind on my blogging and have so many great pictures to get to that I almost hate to take the time to write anything on these posts, but I have to just say what an amazing senior session I had with Talli last week.    This Kansas heat wave has nothing on this girl!  We had a great photo shoot and made some great senior pictures!

It is with much delight that I share today’s images with you!  When I showed up for this shoot, I had no idea how fun and amazing these pictures would be.  Fran has an incredibly gorgeous back yard, which she landscapes herself, and two fluffy and cute maltipoos named Hugs and Kisses!  They were like little toy dolls as they posed perfectly for the camera and Fran is a breath of fresh air!  What a fun job this is!
