I have so many irons on the fire right now, that I’m forgoing the “small talk” to get to right to my favorite four today!
Talk about a good looking family? Wow!
My first Pictures of Hope Foundation complimentary NICU session was with the beautiful Smith family and one of their twin boys. I met with them again to capture brother. Both boys are home now and doing great. Prayers answered!
The adorable Park maternity session was such fun and memorable.
The Rebers took advantage of one of my Mini Session Days this fall to get this and other great family pictures.
Blessings to you until next time…..

Happy Wednesday Blogland! The Hump Day edition of my favorite four:
I’m seriously happy every time I look at this picture. Mainly because I just really loved working with Lauren and her mom and our shoot was so fun and completely, completely unique (check it out HERE). It doesn’t hurt that she is drop dead gorgeous to boot!
Okay, so I’m still seriously happy!! Oh, how I love with all my heart this family and this picture of them. We go way back to working together with the youth when Will and Chelsey were just friends and students at Mid-America Nazarene University. I have so many special memories with them. Since Will played baseball at MNU and Chelsey played softball there, it seemed only natural that Edmond wouldn’t put down that bat to save his life. Look how he is looking at me?? I could gobble him up!
Sometimes, I can stumble upon the darndest spots in the middle of the city. I had no idea how much I was going to love how Samantha was going to look against this fence door.
My heart melts over this next picture taken on one of my Pictures of Hope complimentary NICU sessions. This little boy was born at 24 weeks and was making great progress. I may have to add another picture from this session this month because they are all favorites of mine.
Blessings to you until next time…..

Here’s today’s installment of 4 of my favorites!
All you have to do is look at Audrey’s eyes in this picture to see why I love it. Mesmerizing!

I love just about every picture I take when I am shooting a complimentary Pictures of Hope NICU session. This family was precious and shortly after my visit with them, they got to take their bundle of love home.

I love this picture for many, many reasons. First and foremost, this is my gorgeous niece Emily who flew here from Ohio for me to do her senior pictures. It was such a special time for me. Secondly, wow to wow on the beautifulness of Emily!

Just one of those “speaks of itself” images of a pretty handsome Blue Valley West grad…..

Blessings to you until next time…..

My first Pictures of Hope session was with this Baby M’s twin brother (click here to see). At the time, they were in separate hospitals and now with the first brother brother home, I came to take this brother’s pictures. He may be going home in the coming week! Twins M & M were born at 24 weeks and mom and sister have been living near the hospital because their home is in Juction City, with Dad driving in on the weekends. I can’t imagine what a difficult time it is both physically and emotionally on a family, especially one so far from home. These boys are miracles! I only had literally 5 minutes to get some shots of baby M because of unexpected testing being done, but it was enough to get some wonderful shots of him with his loving momma.
I got another wonderful opportunity to meet a precious new family and do a complimentary photography session of their sweet little girl who has spent the last 14 weeks in the NICU. Baby M was born at 23 weeks and is doing great. They hope to spend her first Christmas at home celebrating. What a blessing to meet these two new parents and watch the interaction they had with their baby girl and her responses to them.
I met this beautiful family on Saturday for a Pictures of Hope complimentary NICU session. Their beautiful boy is doing well and working hard to thrive and grow. He was born at 26 weeks and just look at that head of black hair. I can’t get over the preciousness of life. Please hold this family up in your prayers.
I had my first assignment this weekend as a contributing photographer for Pictures of Hope Foundation. I was accepted as a Pictures of Hope photographer a couple of months ago and it was my pure joy to take pictures of precious baby M this weekend. Baby M, born at 24 weeks along with his brother, is about to leave the NICU after being there since July. His brother is at another hospital due to his needs and will need continued care before he joins his family at home. Please pray for both babies to continue to thrive and grow and for this family.
Pictures of Hope is a charitable organization of professional photographers who provide complimentary, documentary-style, photography sessions to babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and their families. The Pictures of Hope Foundation is comprised of photographers from across the United States and Canada who are dedicated to donating their time to a cause they believe in, and sharing the gift of photography with families in need.
