A lot of times when we hear about a “chance” of thunderstorms, we kinda shrug it off.  Afterall, it looked pretty good out when we left the house.  That’s how this photo shoot with Corey started.  No worries as we headed to the River Market.  It started off great with sun and a little cloud cover, but not soon into the session, a little bit of rain started coming down.  We waited that out for ten minutes or so and it seemed to have passed on.  Thankfully, we were able to get some great shots before the dark, ominous clouds started moving in and the lighting began striking all around the city.  It ended up that we were driving home in a severe thunderstorm with some pretty big hail.   I saw on the news later that night that the downtown area got 3.2 inches of rain.  It was a serious downpour.   Aside from that little situation, Corey’s pictures look incredible and we worked fast in the time that we had and I was able to get off a couple hundred shots.  Corey just got back from a school trip to Germany and so I definitely wanted to include the shot with the German flag since it meant so much to him.  Thanks for a great session Corey.  I’ll have the rest for you soon.
